Myanmar Aerospace Engineering UniversityAdmission

Undergraduate

Welcome to Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University’s admission office under the Registrar’s Office. MAEU only accepts students who pass the matriculation examination with high marks.

For Undergraduate Degrees, the tutorial or lab performance (if any) together with the examination marks for both terms will be considered in making the final evaluation of a student in a particular subject. Minimum of 75% classroom attendance and 100% practical attendance are required for a student to be qualified for taking the examinations.

In the first year, all students study basic common course including computer programming. In the second year to final year, they study in specialized fields of study and then each student must submit B.E. project in final year for their degree.

A student who has completed all the coursework and Industrial Training requirements will be allowed to take a General Viva Voce, in which general technical knowledge of the student to practice as a qualified aerospace engineer in the field of specialized engineering as well as his English language proficiency will be tested. Only if he/she proves to be satisfactory in General Viva Voce, he/she will be awarded the B.E. (Aerospace) degree.
